Career Packs For Young People
Community Learning And Development’s CLAN team have developed a number of career packs for young people between the age of 16 – 25. The packs give a taster of what different careers could offer. On completion there is the chance to gain a qualification ranging from Access Two to Intermediate One in Communication, Numeracy or IT, depending on which pack the learner chooses.
Careers covered include the army, bricklaying, CSCS (construction safety), painting, sports development, caring / nursery nursing and the retail sector.
CLAN can also offer assistance in preparation for entrance exams for professions such as Strathclyde Police, army barb and The Royal Air Force, engineering and electrician divisions via SNIFEFF & SECTT or CITB qualifications.
